SBSS puts emphasis on Water and Sanitation Management Programme to increase the awareness on Primary health care and WATSAN to ensure disease free environment at community level. This program has been considerate as a significant component of the organization. Organizes awareness sessions and trainings on different primary health care issues, motivates beneficiaries for using safe drinking water and installation of water sealed latrines.
Objectives
- To increase the awareness of individuals, families and society to combat health problems.
- To reduce health hazards at public life.
- To increase competence and capacity at individual and family life to encounter health hazards.
- To improve the status of services among affected people.
- To prevent preventable diseases.
Activities
- Organize training, workshop, seminar, sessions and campaign program to make people aware on health, water and sanitation.
- Facilitate people to set up latrines and tube-well and to change behavioral practices
- Ensure medical services for protesting water born diseases
- Increase coordination and collaboration among the service providing organizations and institutions
