SBSS puts emphasis on Primary health care and Nutrition management program to increase the awareness on Primary health care and Nutrition to ensure disease free environment at community level. Organizes awareness sessions and trainings on different primary health care issues, motivates beneficiaries for practicing the basic things related to PHC and nutrition.
Objectives
- To increase the awareness of individuals, families and society to combat health and nutrition problems.
- To reduce health hazards at public life.
- To increase competence and capacity at individual and family life to encounter health and nutrition hazards.
- To improve the status of services among affected people.
- To prevent preventable diseases.
Activities
- Organize training, workshop, seminar, sessions and campaign program to make people aware on health and nutrition.
- Facilitate people to change behavioral practices
- Ensure medical services for protesting basic diseases
- Increase coordination and collaboration among the service providing organizations and institutions
